Are we eating in the right manner

Are we eating in the right manner ?

This might be a little surprising for a few of you, but 'Eating' is not only associated with hunger.
Many of us look at it as a chore we are bound to do everyday. But what if I said we can actually make our lives better just by eating good ? You don't have to trust me on this. But I bet at the end of this article, you might actually think it's making sense.

Before we start explaining how good the food should be, I think it would be right to take a second to thank for the food that's keeping us powered every day....... That's right. Gratitude. Another easy concept that can make our lives better. But we'll save that for another day. :)
Now let’s look into our Digestive System.

Digestive System

The digestive system is a wonderfully designed set of structures. And every component of our digestive system has a specific role to play. We'll detail about that in the upcoming posts. For now, we'll focus on the processes that happen from the beginning, to the end of the energizing operation - Digestion.

  • Ingestion of food
  • Secretion of fluids and digestive enzymes
  • Mixing and movement of food through various stages
  • Absorption of nutrients
  • Excretion of wastes

Honestly, ask yourselves these questions : -

1. Are we deviated from an ideal lifestyle?
 2. Are we eating consciously?
 3. Are we eating only when hungry?
 4. Are we regularly consuming fresh fruits and vegetables?
5.  Are we inclined to the nature’s principles?

Trust me, I did too and it's perfectly understandable if you didn't pass the test. I did not too when I initially put myself through these questions. Which is why I wanted to make a change, a change that might change my life.My life did change and we're going to talk about how yours can change too.

"So what matters if we go against the rules of Nature?"

Our body is beautifully crafted by nature; a perfectly co-ordinated system with each entity doing what it is entitled for. Just like the day is designed for work and night is meant for rest. All of us know this for a fact. But unfortunately, sometimes, we are forced (or it becomes an obligation) to walk against the nature’s principles. Bottomline ! We should think twice before blaming our body.

Things your digestive system requests you to do :

1. Learn to accept mistakes you make in your food habits and take due efforts to resolve the issues in them. Apologize for the mistakes and the ignorance you had for your body.Look into the mirror and admire yourself while you promise to take good care of it thereafter.

2. Eat consciously. When I mean conscious, it means the food should meet or amp up the nutritive requirements your body demands. All nutrients in just the right amounts!

NUTRITION
According to a recent survey conducted by the International Food Information Council (IFIC), 80% of people feel confused about nutrition. Nutrition and Dietetics go hand in hand. Often you can find a chunk of people flattering about their dietary plans. Dieting is not confined only to measuring calories or making timetables. Nutrition lays an outline to a balanced diet. Nutrition is an individual’s interest and ability. Not everybody can afford to buy fruits and vegetables, but nature has always given us an alternative. So nutrition is not far beyond our limits.

OBESITY

Obesity will never affect a person who chooses their food consciously, cooks in a healthy way, chews well. All these make sure the food is digested and absorbed properly by the body. It is also equally important to dispose off wastes our body generates , on a daily basis.

To sum up, I am sincerely provoking or implanting in your minds that how crucial it is to pay attention on what you eat.
• Drink two glasses of lukewarm water in empty stomach after brushing teeth.
• Don’t skip breakfast. ( Ref: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28490511/ )
• Try to consume any one seasonal fruit in the breakfast.
• Lunch must contain atleast one vegetable.
• Abstain from junk food in the evening; instead introduce cooked grains or millets.
• Dinner should be semi-solid or best consumed as porridge in the night.

Let’s discuss in deep the above points if you wish to…please provide your feedback as it will help me to furnish more valuable information.

    1. Thanks for your comments.
We tend to forget our lesson s in day to day life.
Its our duty to implement whatever we have learnt.
Not just reading and forgetting behind.
